Release Manager - Stockholm - Urgent
Just now we have an URGENT request from one of our Swedish clients for a Release Manager.
As our client explained:
We need a Release Manager with at least 5 years experience in large projects and who has some knowledge of SAP.
You will be our client face to face contact during release projects.
This means that you will:
- Create release plans together with the client for our activities in the project. This contains Time schedule, our deliverables and estimation for man time and calendar time.
- Allocate and manage necessary resources in the release project
- Coordinate and follow up the release projects orders
- Report our activities to the client?s project manager on a regularly basis
- Bring up changes or differences to the project plan to the clients project manager
- On a regular basis report the project status in relation to the schedule and budget to our management
- Make sure that our requirements about e.g. operational instructions is fulfilled (be the one who approves or reject these deliverables from the client)
- Make sure the applicable processes and checklists are followed
- Initiate negotiations around operational support, if it needs to be created/changed as an outcome of the release project (e.g. Application SLO). This is initiated by the release manager but is driven by the ADM (Application Delivery Manager)
- On a regular basis report to the parts of our organization driving the application operation of the system delivered by the release project.
- Recommend decisions in the CAB (Change Advisory Board) meeting
- End our part of the release project by facilitating a project closure meeting with the client and write a project close report.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Swedish as well as English are required.
