Service Technician - Stockholm

Just now we have a request from one of our Swedish clients for a Service Technician.

As our client explained:

Description
Tasks that a Service Technician performs in his/hers daily work:
- Moving boards within the chassis on request from testers
- Factory reset of boards (Ericsson Blade System)
- Plan the access to the equipment in cooperation with the PDU (MRV connections)
- Installing new/repaired hardware (boards, chassis, fans, PDUs, Digis, converters)
- Repair boards and chassis (swop discs, backplane, memory modules, transceivers)
- Keep track of different versions of boards and SW compatibility between the new and old versions
- Create and maintain the cabling documentation in EriDoc
- Identify and trigger additional order of needed transceivers, internal cables, memory modules, HDDs etc.
- Review items on orders of new nodes, adding any missing HW
- Initiate/trigger upgrades, changes whenever needed on the HW
- Support the PDU EI CC projects in the planning phase of new installations and purchases of nodes and systems
- Support the ITTE project manager with technical information
- Support the Lab Manager in the floor planning
- Be present when suppliers send on-site support technicians

Skills Required:
- Ericsson Blade System (EBS)
- Linux (SuSE)
- Switches and routers (Juniper, Cisco, Extreme)
- Cabling
- Documentation
