CMS Front End Developer - Stockholm
Nu har vi en förfrågan från en av våra kunder efter en CMS Front End Developer.

We are starting a project to work on a new website that offers a cross-channel experience over different devices from smartphones over tablets to desktop web browsers. The site will be designed by an external studio and we need frontend developers to realize the technical implementation of the design. Beside a fresh and new design, we want to raise the bar for websites by offering a high level of responsiveness and interactivity on the site. We use a customized platform based on Atex Polopoly as CMS technology on top of our own internal services that are integrated as REST-services (SOA). The project will focus on the frontend development and use mostly existing platform technology. The project is aiming for a mid-2013 release but can easily be prolonged as there is a much longer strategic plan defined.The project team will be part of our frontend/CMS-team and we work in an agile/scrum environment.
Tasks
- Implement design into HTML5/CSS based on creative assets delivered by an external agency
- Develop CMS templates for the Polopoly CMS
- Implement JavaScript driven web applications (OO-JavaScript/Ajax/JSON)
- Ensure the content scales to different screen sizes on different target devices
- Ensure look & feel goal is met over different browsers and platforms
- Help others in the team by sharing your expertise
- Code review other team members work
Profile
- Experienced, highly motivated professional
- Ability to drive communication and share knowledge
- Experience with testing ?distributed applications? and API integrations
- Experience with testing and troubleshooting JavaScript
- Experience with testing on mobile devices
- Experience with different web browsers and their perks and shortcomings
- Experience working in an agile environment
Skills required:
- Advanced JavaScript - including object oriented development using frameworks like Underscore, RequireJS, YUI and jQuery
- HTML5/XHTML - browser support, reusability, best practices, future proofing and performance
- CSS (including CSS3) - browser support, graceful degradation, base64, sprites, reusability
- CMS template development (Polopoly or similar) - experience with backend coding and templating
- Mobile development - experience developing for mobile and tablets using responsive design, frameworks or building native apps
- Web design and Photoshop - from basic slicing to the ability to create, enhance or expand on an existing design
- Experience with agile development methods such as Scrum and Kanban
