Senior Web Designer - Stockholm
Just now we have a request from one of our Swedish clients for a Senior Web Designer.
As our client explained:
Overview
We are looking for a senior web designer to join our team. The team consists of 4 developers with strong PHP and Drupal skills. We are currently moving a group of white label sites over to our new platform, changing their look and feel in the process.
You will be bringing the team up to speed on best practices as you take charge of implementing the new designs.
Tasks
- Finalizing the design requirements together with the business stakeholders
- Coaching the team in your areas of expertise, spearheading the implementation work
- Implementing a base theme, shared across all sites
- Building the separate site designs on top of that base theme
- Reviewing the existing markup and style sheets, refactoring and organizing as needed
Profile
- Experienced, highly motivated professional
- Ability to drive the process and refine requirements together with stakeholders
- Experience with Drupal theming
- Experience with JavaScript and client side templating is a plus
- Experience with web performance best practices
- Experience in testing markup and style sheets in multiple browsers
- Experience working in an agile environment
- Good knowledge of software development process
Duration: At least 2 months, with a very good possibility of extension.
