2 x Application Tester - Stockholm
Just now we have a request from one of our Swedish clients for 2 x Application Tester.
As our client explained:
We are seeking two Application Testers who would work in various projects.
Tasks
The consultants will be integrated in our Backoffice & Testing group and participate in the projects of the operational units and carry out system testing and corresponding tasks to support the life cycle of the our applications and systems and to facilitate the integration of new applications in our environment.
Specifically:
- Test and deploy applications and patches in a testing environment, i.e. prepare test plans and conduct testing and debugging to proactively identify bugs in application code during the construction phase as well as the validation and integration phase of the software development life cycle including the use of automated testing tools;
- Create test cases based on use cases provided
- Provide reports about the tests conducted
- Contribute to the maintenance and expansion of our test environment for integrated testing of the various applications
- Support the integration of new systems into the existing environment.
Competences and skills
- Experience and knowledge in the areas mentioned above under Tasks
- Knowledge and experience in creating test plans and cases and their execution
- Knowledge of test methodologies
- (Beneficial) Knowledge of Sharepoint (MOSS 2010) administration and development
- Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and Exchange Server
- Knowledge in test reporting and issue tracking using Team Foundation Server (2010)
- Experience with automated application test tools
- Programming/ scripting experience, preferably in C#, ASP.NET and SQL;
- Very good command of English; oral and written
- Very good organisational skills: a planned approach to tasks and ability to prioritize;
- Very good communication skills;
- High level of service orientation;
- Excellent team worker.
Duration: Until the 2013-01-31, with a good possibility of extension.
