Just now we have a request from one of our Swedish clients for a Business Analyst.

Description
The Client's main system was first developed and opened in 2008 and has operated since. To this date, roughly 25000 files containing more than 23 million records of data has been reported to the system.
The Client's development group has worked with both maintaining the current functionality as well as further developing new requirements in accordance with the Client's annual work plan. During 2011, a new module of data was added to the system to form Version 3, and during 2012 this work will continue to add further functionality and flexibility to the system.
Tasks
As a Business Analyst you will be responsible for maintaining the specifications of the system. You will be requested to perform various tasks related to the projects, products, applications and services developed in the section.
The tasks will include:
- Liaise with the business stakeholders and the development team
- Analyse and document the business processes supported by the system
- Perform business data modelling
- Produce Software Requirements Specifications: use cases, complementary requirements, non-functional requirements
- Contribute to the specifications for the integration via web services of the system with IT systems in the Client
- Contribute to the production of Acceptance Tests Specifications and acceptance testing, when necessary
- Contribute to the preparation of trainings and trainings material, when necessary
Competences and skills
Required:
- Profound experience with application requirements specifications
- Experience of business process modeling
- Experience of data modeling
- Excellent knowledge of UML
- Excellent communication skills
- Organised and structured approach
Advantageous:
- Experience with public health, surveillance and laboratory data
- Good knowledge of a modelling tool, preferably Enterprise Architect
Duration: Until the 2013-01-31, with a good possibility of extension.
