Technical Development Manager - Stockholm

 Just now we have a request from one of our Swedish clients for a Head of Technical Development (TD).

As our client explained:

We are looking for consultant to become the Head of our Technical Development (TD) Department.

This department, as part of the Application and Management Operations (AMO), has the following responsibilities:

System Owner
TD owns and drives infrastructural changes within our organisation. TD looks into the product portfolio and decides on what systems and hardware should be used.

Internal Consultancy
TD has the following skills: Database, Network, Infrastructure, application, Automation Management and Configurations Management. TD has an architectural responsibility within these areas and works together with our system architects to provide a scalable and steady platform for our production.

Third Line Support
TD acts as third line support to Operations team for infrastructure issues and problems.

Project Management
TD drives projects from three different sources:
1. Business projects (bigger ones with coordination from Project management group)
2. Development projects (medium to small that is based on requirements from product teams within the Company)
3. TD projects (small to large projects that is driven and required from TD or AMO)

This role?s main responsibilities are:
- to focus on the project management parts, participate in meetings and make sure that we deliver on time. Report to Head of AMO and provide information back to TD team so they can deliver to customer satisfactory.
- to work closely with Head of Operations and make sure that TD is providing the proper support to Operations (2:nd line).
- to bring in new projects from Business and Product teams and make sure right resources get on them.
- to look into designs and implementation plans, make sure we are following procedures and verify quality of delivery.
