Senior Application developer/ programmer GCC - Göteborg - Urgent
Just now we have an URGENT request from one of our Swedish clients for a Senior Application developer/ programmer GCC.
Please note: This assignment is located in Göteborg. I need your by tomorrow, Friday the 22nd of October. It is a 12 month assignment.
As our client explained:
Assignment Description:
- Application developer/programmer within the GCC Team.
- Analyse and solve Change Requests/ bugs.
- If/ when needed help out with support, functional tests or with creation of automatic test scripts.
- The position is in a small team so the individual needs to be flexible around what tasks to handle.
Skills Preferred:
- Testing capability
- Administration of Websphere
- Practical experience from work within integrations platform project, applying techiques as JMS, XSD, OAGIS (XML)
- Experience in applying the following techniques: Struts, Oracle PL/SQL, MQ Series (IBM). - Experience in creation of automatic test scripts (FitNesse/Selenium).
- Practical experience in object oriented system design and development
- Need to have strong knowledge in open platform environments (JEE, WAS, Oracle, Linux), especially JEE and WAS.
- Practical experience of: Ant/Maven, CVS/Subversion, Application Servers/Websphere, Eclipse/WSAD/RAD7, IHS/Apache Tomcat, Oracle, Linux
- Software management according to Unified SDM (Unified Solution Methodology)/RUP .
- System support and maintenance experience
Experience Required:
- 5+ years of progressive responsibilities in IT with at least 4 years experience in mainstream development environments
- Major contribution to multiple projects in more than one development environment
- Thorough understanding of current system environments, their main features, limitations and performance characteristics
Education Required:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field
- Completed advanced education/training or gained experience in more than one development environment
Other Skills:
- Driven and self going.
- Strong logical mind due to high complexity in business rules.
- Team player and have a positive mindset
- Structured and analytical
- Be able to easily express yourself in spoken and written Swedish and English
