Structured Software Developer / Documentator - Embedded System
Just now we have a request from one of our Swedish clients for a Structured Software Developer / Documentator - Embedded System.
Our client is looking for a structured embedded & software tester and a structured software developer for the US launch of one of our hematology instruments. I.e. an instrument that analyzes the blood of a patient and helps the doctor set a diagnosis. The instrument is a complex embedded system with a flow system which uses impedance measurement to count the blood cells. The blood is diluted 400 times for the counting of white blood cells and 40,000 times for the counting of red blood cells. This means very small impedance signals and very high precision in volume measuring. The system uses C and C++ and has several processors.
The work includes:
- System architecture specifications for embedded system/ Reverse engineering
- Development of software specifications, software risk analysis and design descriptions for software
- Development of test specifications and testing of software
- Bug analysis and problem solving
- The work may also include redesign of software architecture and software code
Qualifications:
- At least 3-5 years of experience of software development embedded real time systems
- MSc or the equivalent in computer science, electro-technology or engineering physics
- Knowledge of software development for medical technology and FDA 510k requirements
