Structured Software Tester - Embedded System
Just now we have a request from one of our Swedish clients for a Structured Software Tester - Embedded System.
Our client is looking for a structured embedded & software tester and a structured software developer for the US launch of one of our hematology instruments. I.e. an instrument that analyzes the blood of a patient and helps the doctor set a diagnosis. The instrument is a complex embedded system with a flow system which uses impedance measurement to count the blood cells. The blood is diluted 400 times for the counting of white blood cells and 40,000 times for the counting of red blood cells. This means very small impedance signals and very high precision in volume measuring. The system uses C and C++ and has several processors.
The work includes:
- Risk analysis
- Verification specification and testing of embedded systems
- Development of verification specification and testing of software
- Bug analysis and problem solving
Qualifications:
- At least 3-5 years of experience of test specifications and testing of embedded real time systems and software testing
- MSc or the equivalent in computer science, electro-technology or engineering physics
- At least 3 years of software testing for medical technology with FDA 510k requirements
