Just now we have a request from one of our Swedish clients for two Experts to act as mentors in the R&D Architecture & Design Process, Methods & Tools - Telecom.
Please note: This assignment is based in Stockholm but involves 50% international travel.
Description
Our client is looking for two experts to act as mentors to their Architecture & Design office. This office has the responsibility for the identification, planning, promotion of product architecture and system process, methods, documentation and tools for the company-level R&D organisation.
Responsibilities
The selected mentors would help our client to improve their competence in and understanding of the current European world-class mature methodologies and tools in the following areas:
- Architecture design for specific domain, including logical architecture design and hardware architecture design method improvement.
- System analysis and design, including functional design and non-functional design (design for X).
- Long-term strategy planning and short-term improvement for all the above.
- Process and documentation improvement for all the above.
Competence
- At least 15 years experience in both network level/ node level and subsystem system design. - Very good experience in development and testing, with a background in wireless or core network.
- Deep understanding of the feature and function oriented design process, method and documentation.
- Experience in Agile, incremental and iterative development is required.
- Sufficient experience in architecture and system design tools.
- Good communication and documentation skills, good team working and problem solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability in mentoring people and driving improvements. Experience in change management is also required.
- University degree in Computer Science/ Software Engineering or another related degree.
Duration: At least three months, with a very good possibility of a longer term extension.
