Just now we have a request from one of our Swedish clients for a Consultant specialised in Sun products.

Our client requires a consultant specialised in Sun products and with practical experience of the virtualization of Solaris environments.
Sun Solaris expertise:
As an experienced Solaris consultant you will be required to undertake an evaluation of a Solaris environment (approx 27 objects) based on Sun's Logical Domains (LDOM) in combination with branded zones. The purpose of this evaluation is to identify the increased cost efficiency of implementing a virtual solution.
Main tasks:
The successful candidate will conduct a pre-study of the existing environment in order to calculate the costs and benefits of the virtualization. The report coming from this pre-study should also include an estimate of the workload in Phase 2, which is the actual implementation.
Profile and qualification requirements:
- Practical, not just theoretical, experience of similar implementations.
- You must have references from this previous experience.
- It is an advantage if you can conduct both phases (pre-study and implementation).
Location and time plan:
The assignment is full-time onsite for one month. The successful consultant has a good chance to participate in the implementation phase. This would mean an extension of an additional two months.
Duration: 1 to 3 months.
