Consultant - Apache Hive - Stockholm
Just now we have a request from one of our Swedish clients for a Consultant - Apache Hive.
As our client explained:
We are looking for a consultant to move and optimise existing PostgresDB scripts and tables to Apache Hive jobs, to run on the Apache Hadoop (Hortonworks) infrastructure.
The consultant should be advanced in writing Hive jobs and have a very good understanding of SQL, preferably Postgres SQL.
This task is the first of many in a plan to move the processing of heavy logic from RDBMS to Hadoop and is planned to be done before the end of year.
The logic to be moved is based on financial data and there will be a close cooperation between the consultant and business analysts, on how the business logic in the SQL scripts is designed.
Duration: Until the 2015-12-31, with a possibility of extension.
